Storytelling Workshop - York (Group 2)

Come along and take part in these free workshops aimed to help you develop your own Digital Story in relation to a personal experience of urban trees.

The workshops are being run by the 'Branching Out' Project. (https://www.valueoftrees.co.uk/). Branching Out is a project led by Loughborough University, that aims to combine biophysical data and storytelling to capture the social and cultural values of trees.

The Workshops will support the participants as you create own your Digital Stories about the trees in your area and are aimed at adults 18+

The workshops will take place in two parts. The first session (Sunday 2nd April) consists of sharing stories and creating your own tree story using storyboards. The second session (Sunday 16th April) you will get a chance to record and edit your story digitally. Each workshop last 2 and half hours long.

We will also decide together, during the last session, when it may be convenient to meet online, to share and discuss your new digital stories.

Location: Harriet Centre, York Cemetery, The Gatehouse, 49 Cemetery Rd, York YO10 5AJ

Please note you must be available for both workshops.

If, however you want to be involved and can only attend one, let us know and we can see what we can do to enable you to participate.
