The transformative impact of participatory interdisciplinarity explored through the ‘Branching Out – Treescapes Project’

We’re delighted that the work of the Branching Out team has been explored in the first impact note from the Future of UK Treescapes programme. Find out about the how participatory interdisciplinarity can have an impact and how it provides researchers with both opportunities and challenges to undertaking research. We used a Research Impact Evaluation Framework to explore our interdisciplinary ways of working. This allows us to consider not just concrete change but also how we learn from other disciplines and develop new skills. It can also change our awareness of other disciplines and allows researchers to reflect on their own discipline particularly via important face-to-face engagement. Read on here to find out more.
